Mahansaria Group supported setting up of Charitable Dialysis Centre in Mumbai
Mumbai, November 2022: Mahansaria group has always focused on giving back to the community in line with this philosophy we have recently supported the setting up of the Lifeline Rotary Ashok Sushila Mahansaria Dialysis Centre at the Lifeline Hospital in Charkop, Mumbai. Operational from November 2022, the 15-bedded state-of-the-art facility equipped with 15 advanced machines can perform more than a thousand dialysis each month. The Dialysis Centre aims to serve the underprivileged sections of society .
In India, an additional 2.2 Lakh people suffer from ESRD (final stage of chronic kidney disease) every year, which goes untreated due to the lack of funds and dialysis centres. The ESRD creates an additional demand for 34 million dialysis annually. Every dialysis has an additional expenditure tag of about Rs.1000-2000 which often costs patients approximately Rs. 2-4 lakhs each year, which is beyond the reach of many people. The vision behind this initiative is to enable easy access to medical facilities for such patients.
Yogesh Mahansaria, Managing Director, Mahansaria Tyres Pvt. Ltd. on this initiative said,

The central driver behind this establishment is to benefit the society at large, where the primary focus is on uplifting health while providing relief to the already suffering dialysis patients. This is the second such centre funded by the Group, and we hope to have the opportunity to do additional work in this area in the times to come.”
